FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Lincoln Elementary Parent Teacher Group (PTG) and Richardson Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is gearing up for the 2023 FM Elementary Carnival. The carnival will be held on April 15, 2023 from 1:00-3:30 at FMHS.
Organizers have been working hard on planning a fun, family friendly event that will raise funds to support Lincoln and Richardson Elementary School. Wristbands will cost $10 if they are purchased ahead of time and will be available at the door for $12. Wristbands aren’t required for entry but will be required for all activities regardless of age.
The carnival will have more than 20 games with prizes sponsored by local businesses, five inflatables, a candy walk, a cake walk and so much more.
Lee County Conservation, Case-New Holland, and the Fort Madison Arts Center are all planning to have a booth and games set up for kids. Clowns will be on hand to making balloon animals and the high school robotics team is setting up a demonstration for the kids.
Concession will be available throughout the carnival.
We will also be having an online auction, hosted by Fraise Auctions, as part of the carnival. Online bidding will start on April 14th and close April 20th. A preview of the auction items will be available at the carnival. If you need assistance with setting up an account with Fraise’s online bidding site assistance will be available. Items up for auction include class projects, items donated from local businesses, class parties, and much more.
However, it takes lots of volunteers to make a large event run successfully. If you would like to volunteer at carnival we are still looking for several volunteers and anyone that is interested can sign up at the link below.
