FORT MADISON - The Tri-State Rodeo Operating Committee is proud to announce the entertainment schedule for the 76th Annual Tri-State Rodeo, which will be held in Fort Madison, Iowa, from September 4 to 7, 2024!
In addition to the world-class national entertainment acts, the Tri-State Rodeo has been named one of the nation’s top five large outdoor rodeos since 2000! The TSR Chute Out brings the top rodeo athletes from around the WORLD!
In a recent statement, the Tri-State Rodeo Chairman said, “Coming out of 2023, a record-setting year where we witnessed multiple sold-out shows, we wanted to keep the momentum going with big entertainment this year!”
In addition to four high-energy rodeo nights, the Tri-State Rodeo will continue the tradition of four nights of national entertainment on Jack Daniel’s stage – each followed by a hard-hitting band inside the Bud Light Stockyard!
On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the Tri-State Rodeo will welcome the multi-platinum, award-winning recording artist Elle King. King has enjoyed over 1.5 billion streams worldwide and is a platinum-selling powerhouse performer known for hits like “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” “Ex’s & Oh’s,” “Different for Girls,” “Shame,” and many others.
Headlining Thursday, September 5, 2024, is Tyler Hubbard, who, with 21 No.1 singles on country radio, countless awards, and sold-out tours, has already had a remarkable career as a songwriter and as one-half of the multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line. Hubbard’s debut solo album, aptly titled Tyler Hubbard, was released in January 2023 and has amassed more than 1 billion streams to date. It features Hubbard’s hit debut solo single “5 Foot 9,” which hit No. 1 on Country Radio, was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA, and has 548M global streams. It also features Hubbard’s second No. 1 single, “Dancin’ in The Country,” which already has more than 380M global streams. The RIAA has certified it Platinum and marked his second No. 1 at Country Radio.
Friday, September 6, 2024, features not one but two Jack Daniel’s Stage acts! Midland gained critically acclaimed success with their sophomore album “Let it Roll,” which earned the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Top Country Album Sales chart upon release. The album was a follow-up to Midland’s GOLD-certified debut album, “On the Rocks,” which was declared “the year’s best Country album” by Washington Post.  “On the Rocks” featured their 2x Platinum-certified chart-topping debut “Drinkin’ Problem” and earned the band their first GRAMMY® Awards nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Opening for Midland is Muscadine Bloodline, which, since the band's formation, has charted three albums, sold out shows across the country, and played the Grand Ole Opry multiple times. They are often hailed as the most successful independent duo in Country music.
Jack Daniel’s Stage closes out on Saturday, September 7, 2024, with country icon Clint Black, one of the truest traditionalists in music over the last three decades. A true triple threat singer/guitarist/songwriter, Black has sold more than twenty million records, written, and recorded twenty-two #1 singles, and been awarded nearly two dozen gold and platinum awards, a GRAMMY, and numerous CMA, ACM, and American Music Awards.
Along with these fantastic bands, each night will highlight multiple rodeo events hosted by our long-time announcer, Boyd Polhamus, the multi-award winning Barrelman, Justin Rumford, and Cervi Championship Rodeo, who is returning as the Tri-State Rodeo stock contractor.
Following the concert each night, head inside the Bud Light Stockyard and keep the good times rolling with The Boys on September 4th, Clay Clear Band on September 5th, and back-to-back nights with the Tank Anthony Band on September 6th and 7th!
Tickets for the Tri-State Rodeo will go on sale Friday, April 5, 2024, at 8 AM and will be available at www.tristaterodeo.org or by calling the Tri-State Rodeo Box Office at (319) 372-2550. Tickets include entry into the rodeo, the concert, and the after-party.
