FM ladies open conference play with shutout

Snaadt, Randolph each score four in win over Keokuk.

KEOKUK — Natalie Randolph and Teagan Snaadt each had four goals as Fort Madison’s girls soccer team opened Southeast Conference play with a 10-0 win over Keokuk on Thursday night.
The Bloodhounds (2-0), who have opened the season with two shutouts, jumped on the Chiefs with nine first-half goals. Snaadt’s goal with 30:25 left ended the match.
Randolph scored all of her goals in the first 10 minutes, sandwiched around a Snaadt goal to give the Bloodhounds a 5-0 lead. Snaadt added two more goals, and Halle Menke and Reilynn Turnbull each had a goal, to end the first half.
Turnbull, Snaadt and Hadley Wolfe each had two assists.
Fort Madison hosts Fairfield on Monday.
