08/15/25 - No news to report.

Keokuk Police Report 
08/04/25 - 4:22 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 100 block of Main Street. Marcia L. Hutson, 72, of Niota was driving east in the right lane, went to change lanes and collided with Schyler J. Hamilton, 23, of Hamilton  who was driving east in the left lane. Both vehicle's sustained minor damage. Hutson was cited for improper lane change. 
08/13/25 - 9:01 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 1500 block of Main Street. A 17 year old juvenile was in the left hand lane in the 1500 block of Main Street, and attempted to merge into the right lane, side swiping Jorge Alferez, 27, of Hamilton, who was in the right lane. The juvenile's vehicle sustained minor damage while Alferez's vehicle sustained functional damage.  The juvenile was cited for improper use of lanes. 
08/14/25 - 6:06 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of North 5th Street. 
08/14/25 - 6:21 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2300 block of Main Street. 
08/14/25 - 7:37 PM - Keokuk police cited Nathan E. Benstine, 57, of Keokuk in the 1000 block of Orleans Avenue on charges of driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
08/15/25 - 6:03 AM - Keokuk police arrested Devom Michael Donaldson, 23, of Kahoka in the 900 block of Franklin Street on a charge of invasion of privacy. He was held in Lee County Jail.

08/14/25 - 8:15 AM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cheyenne Dale McKune, 45, of Keokuk in the 25th block of North 7th Street in Keokuk on a warrant for assault. She was held in Lee County Jail. 
08/14/25 - 8:32 AM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thurman Purdiman III, 34, of Keokuk in the 2500 block of 255th Street in Montrose on a charge of failure to appear and contempt of court. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
08/14/25 - 8:00 PM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Zachary Edward Weyrick, 37, of Montrose in the  2700 block of 252nd Avenue in Montrose on a charge of domestic abuse assault. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
08/14/25 - 8:00 PM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jessica Lynn Davison, 38, of Montrose in the  2700 block of 252nd Avenue in Montrose on a charge of domestic abuse assault. She was held in Lee County Jail. 
08/14/25 - 8:54 PM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kevin Lynn Tripp Junior, 38, of Keokuk in Fort Madison on a charge of burglary in the third degree. He was held in Lee County Jail.
