Fort Madison Police Report
03/23/23 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Johnathanne Taylor Palm, 26, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 48th Street and Avenue O, on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/23/23 – 2:14 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested James Cleaveland Cleararthur Hale, Jr., 29, of Burlington, in the 1900 block of 48th Street, on charges of public intoxication, assault with bodily injury, interference with official acts - bodily injury, and 1st degree harassment. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/23/23 – 3:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3000 block of Avenue N.
03/23/23 – 8:03 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Dana Cheren Wagner, 42, of Fort Madison, in the 1600 block of Avenue E, on a charge of driving under suspension.
03/23/23 – 8:21 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1500 block of Avenue H.

Lee County Sheriff Report
03/23/23 – 10:02 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Taylor Ann Bottger, 18, of Keokuk, at the intersection of Mile Marker 22 and Hwy. 61 N., Fort Madison, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
