Fort Madison Police Report
03/07/24 – 8:55 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1900 block of Avenue D.
03/07/24 – 1:57 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jacob William Klesner, 39, of Fort Madison, in the 1400 block of Avenue H, on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of voluntary absence from custody and a charge of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/07/24 – 3:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4600 block of Avenue J.
03/07/24 – 7:54 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 5000 block of River Valley Road.

Keokuk Police Report
02/17/24 – 6:30 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident in the 1600 block of Hilton Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Levi Garret Krome, 30, of Keokuk, was traveling westbound in the 1600 block of Hilton Road when it left the roadway and struck a retaining wall, executed a u-turn and traveled eastbound on Hilton Road, and parked in a business parking lot. Krome left the scene and did not report the accident. He was cited for leaving the scene of a traffic accident. No injuries were reported. Krome's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
03/07/24 – 7:20 a.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Jessica Michelle Burlingame, 45, of Keokuk, at Main Street and Navaho Drive, on a charge of driving under suspension.
03/07/24 – 7:28 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the Keokuk area.
03/07/24 – 10:26 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of Johnson Street Road.
03/07/24 – 11:03 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 1600 block of Des Moines Street.
03/07/24 – 11:53 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1200 block of Johnson Street.
03/07/24 – 12:06 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Brandon Wayne Salyers, 39, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for 1st offense sex offender registry. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/07/24 – 4:22 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1700 block of Johnson Street.
03/07/24 – 7:54 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Wise Lane.
03/07/24 – 9:48 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Kory Lee Wade, 43, of Keokuk, in the 1400 block of Main Street, on warrants for violation of probation and voluntary absence from custoday. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
