09/28/23 – 9:52 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
09/28/23 – 12:49 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 600 block of 9th Street.
09/28/23 – 2:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Leon Dale Dobson, 74, of Donnellson, in the 900 block of 48th Street, on a charge of enticing under 16 - sex abuse. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/28/23 – 3:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Dalton Jerald McKeown, 27, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 26th Street, on a warrant for parole violation – 3rd degree burglary, a warrant for failure to appear – driving while license denied/revoked, and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/28/23 – 6:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested a 17-year-old female juvenile, of Fort Madison, in the 5400 block of Avenue O, on two charges of assault w/injury – law officer/other. She was released to a parent.
09/28/23 – 6:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of Avenue H.
09/28/23 – 10:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Wyatt Brown, 25, of LaHarpe, in the 1400 block of Avenue H, on a warrant for 5th degree theft and a charge of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
09/28/23 – 1:36 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Colten Wayne Murphy, 28, of Missouri, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on an arrest of affidavit. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/28/23 – 3:46 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Michael Anthony Weldon, 33, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/28/23 – 4:39 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 2 E. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Jonathan Edward Bostrom, 42, of Keokuk, was traveling westbound on Hwy. 2 attempting to turn left onto the Hwy. 61 southbound ramp and was struck by a vehicle driven by Robert Jerry Bergman, 74, of Donnellson. No injuries were reported. Bostrom was cited for suspended license, no insurance, and failure to yield. Bergman's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene; Bostrom's vehicle was driven from the scene.
09/28/23 – 4:42 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies cited and released Carter Ryan Colby, 24, of West Point, in the 1300 block of Hwy. 27, West Point, on charges of possession of a controlled substance – marijuana 1st and possession of drug paraphernalia.
09/28/23 – 5:43 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Aariona Ratanya Hollingsworth, 24, of Missouri, in the 1300 block of Hwy. 218, West Point, on two charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

Those listed above are arrested on suspicion of a charge and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
