Fort Madison Police Report
01/10/25 – 7:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism on Richards Drive.
01/10/25 – 7:24 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 500 block of Avenue F.
01/11/25 – 11:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 100 block of 23rd Street.
01/11/25 – 11:17 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 500 block of Avenue F.
01/11/25 – 11:38 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of stolen vehicle in the 2200 block of Avenue L.
01/11/25 – 2:40 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 500 block of 10th Street.
01/11/25 – 8:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Bradley Michael Dettmers, 39, of Fort Madison in the 2100 block of Avenue M, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
01/11/25 – 11:55 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of 12th Street.
01/12/25 – 8:11 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of stolen vehicle in the 3100 block of Avenue P.
01/12/25 – 1 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1000 block of Avenue E.
01/12/25 – 1:06 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 4900 block of Avenue O.

Keokuk Police Report
01/05/25 – 4:00 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Main Street. According to the report a vehicle driven by James Paul-Dean Burleson, 29, of Keokuk was actively eluding police in the 1300 block of Main Street headed eastbound. Burleson made a left turn onto N. 13th Street and turned around striking a police vehicle driven by Nicholas James Smidt, 32, of Keokuk. Smidt continued to pursue Burleson with both vehicles damaged. Burleson’s vehicle was later spotted in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue where the driver was identified. Burleson was cited for failure to provide insurance.
01/09/25 – 2:53 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Michael Joseph Farrugia, 36, of Keokuk, in the 200 block of N. 5th Street on charge of public intoxication and interference with official acts. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/09/25 – 3:15 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Kayleb Kenneth Billington, 26, of Keokuk, in the 1400 block of Main Street on warrants for violation of parole and sex offender registration violation. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/09/25 – 3:40 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 300 block of Main Street.
01/09/25 – 6:08 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2000 block of Main Street.
01/09/25 – 8:57 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Tristin Dakota Cockrell, 19, of Keokuk in the 200 block of N. 5th Street, on a charge of 2nd-degree robbery. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/09/25 – 11:21 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Orion Hunter Glasgow, 20, of Keokuk, in the 200 block of N. 5th Street on a charge of 2nd-degree robbery. He was held in Lee County Jail.
01/09/25 – 11:40 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 14-year-old male in the 200 block of N. 5th Street on a charge of 2nd-degree robbery. He was held at juvenile detention.
01/09/25 – 11:58 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 15-year-old male in the 200 block of N. 5th Street on a charge of 2nd-degree robbery. He was held at juvenile detention.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
01/12/25 – 2:36 p.m. – Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested Chad William Ackley, 49, Kahoka, at the sheriff’s office on a judgment hold. He was held in Lee County Jail.
Those listed above should be and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

01/10/25 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to one vehicle accident and one medical call.
01/11/25 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to three medical calls and one lift assist.
