05/03/24 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Randall Dean Sommerfeld, 60, of Fort Madison, in the 5400 block of Avenue O, on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 10:18 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Robert James Young, 26, of Fort Madison, at 10th Street and Avenue F, on a charge of driving under suspension.
05/03/24 – 12:01 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 300 block of Avenue F.
05/03/24 – 12:13 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jason Theodore Kokjohn, 43, of Fort Madison, in the 3000 block of Avenue O, on a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 2:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested James William Higgins, 39, of Fort Madison, in the 1500 block of Avenue M, on charges of violation of a domestic no-contact order and 3rd degree harassment. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

05/05/24 – 9:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Paul Edwin Rippenkroeger, 61, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of Avenue F, on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

05/03/24 – 8:26 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 900 block of Fulton Street.
05/03/24 – 11:11 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 300 block of North Park Drive.
05/03/24 – 11:39 a.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Kautious Heaven Nicoi Braggs, 23, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of North Park Drive, on a charge of 5th degree theft less than $300.
05/03/24 – 11:43 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1600 block of Main Street.
05/03/24 – 12:58 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of Johnson Street Road.
05/03/24 – 6:08 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 200 block of Hillcrest Street.
05/03/24 – 6:10 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 10th and Orleans Streets. According to the report, a vehicle driven by James Brice McLeod, 21, of Keokuk, was traveling northbound at 10th and Orleans Streets, did not stop at the stop sign and broadsided a vehicle driven by Carl Frederick Hausch that was westbound at 10th and Orleans Streets. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene. Brice was cited for failure to stop at stop sign and failure to provide security against liability with accident.
05/03/24 – 6:10 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of Orleans Avenue.
05/03/24 – 7:20 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 200 block of Concert Street.

05/03/24 – 8:13 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Candace Yvonne Weddle, 30, of Keokuk, in the 1700 block of Timea Street, on charges of 2nd degree burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 5th degree theft less than $300. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 9:57 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Shawn Kenneth Grandbouche, 55, of Keokuk, at North 14th and Main Streets, on a charge of driving under suspension.
05/03/24 – 11:26 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of Fairlane.
05/04/24 – 2:17 a.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Grady Evan Fountain, 31, of Keokuk, at South 5th and Timea Streets, on a charge of first offense OWI.
05/04/24 – 10:49 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 300 block of North Park Drive.

05/05/24 – 2:13 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Abigail Kate Krask, 22, of Missouri, in the 1100 block of Main Street, on a charge of assault with bodily injury. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/05/24 – 12:10 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 200 block of Concert Street.

Lee County Sheriff Report
05/03/24 – 10:50 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jesse Virgil Johnson Booth, 32, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after weekend service.
05/03/24 – 1:44 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Bonnie Sue Land, 49, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 3:59 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Denise Ann McGinnis, 58, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant and a warrant for voluntary absence from custody. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 6:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Bradlee Kenneth Lovell, 27, of Kahoka, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on an arrest of affidavit. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/03/24 – 6:51 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Taylor William Scott, 31, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after weekend service.
05/04/24 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
05/05/24 – 8:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of an ATV accident at 353rd Street and 243rd Avenue. According to the report, an ATV drive by a 12-year-old male juvenile, of Keokuk, with a 10-year-old female passenger, of Keokuk, lost control, rolled over, and landed in a ditch. One of the juveniles sustained significant injuries and was transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center – Fort Madison by Lee County EMS; the other juvenile had minor injuries. The ATV was towed from the scene and the accident is under investigation.
