10/13/23 – 8:08 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at 34th Street and Avenue L.
10/13/23 – 9:07 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3000 block of Avenue K.
10/13/23 – 9:49 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 400 block of 10th Street.
10/13/23 – 11:10 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue G.
10/13/23 – 11:51 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2200 block of Avenue H.
10/13/23 – 3:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Mitchell Lynn Helmick, 37, of Fort Madison, in the 3500 block of Avenue Q, on a warrant for parole violation – controlled substance violation and charges of possession of a controlled substance – 3rd and possession of controlled substance – marijuana – 1st. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/13/23 – 3:53 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
10/13/23 – 4:00 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of 4th Street.
10/14/23 – 4:47 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 5400 block of Avenue O.
10/14/23 – 4:46 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue G.
10/14/23 – 6:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 3000 block of Avenue O.
10/14/23 – 10:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3100 block of Avenue J.
10/15/23 – 3:21 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Kyle Wayne Rea, 27, of Fort Madison, in the 6100 block of Reve Court, on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct – loud noise. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/15/23 – 2:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 300 block of Avenue H.

Keokuk Police Report
10/13/23 – 2:25 p.m. – Keokuk police department arrested a 12-year-old male juvenile in the 2000 block of Orleans Avenue, on a charge of simple assault. He was released to a parent.
10/14/23 – 2:11 a.m. – Keokuk police department arrested Darcie Kim Lefler, 42, of Fort Madison, at S. 14th Street and S. 16th Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/15/23 – 2:02 p.m. – Keokuk police department cited and released Chyna Rayne Popkin, 31, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of North Park Drive, on a charge of 5th degree theft less than $300.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/13/23 – 1:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Conrad Chavez Vangsness, 27, of Mediapolis, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/13/23 – 1:34 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David James Kokjohn, 64, of West Point, at Hwy. 103 and 187th Street, Fort Madison, on a charge of 2nd offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
10/13/23 – 1:39 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Steven Wayne Reynolds, 40, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/13/23 – 4:05 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dustin James Biddenstadt, 29, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after weekend service.
10/13/23 – 6:15 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Gregory Paul Stanbridge, 56, of Fort Madison, in the 2500 block of 255th Street, Montrose, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/14/23 – 4:06 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Tiffany Lee McGlasson, 32, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant and charges of assault of a law officer/others – no injury, 2nd offense OWI, interference with official acts, driver's license denied/revoked – OWI, and voluntary absence from custody. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/15/23 – 4:30 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1900 block of 100th Avenue, Farmington. According to the report, a vehicle left the road to the right, ran through a fence, and hit a tree. It was later determined that Larry Lee Whittemore, 34, of Wayland, was the driver. Minor injuries were suspected. Whittemore was cited for failure to maintain control. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
10/15/23 – 6:41 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Alan Edward Snyder, 49, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a pre-trial release.
10/15/23 – 7:38 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 2800 block of 180th Street. According to the report, a vehicle was found wrecked and abandoned with damage to the windshield. It was later determined the driver was Michael William Blint, 48, of West Point. Possible injuries occured. Blint was cited for no driver's license. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
10/15/23 – 3:03 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Trinity Leanna Evans, 22, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/15/23 – 6:34 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Autumn Mae Lafortune, 41, of Burlington, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of parole. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/15/23 – 11:35 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chevy Allen Frueh, 41, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue Report
10/13/23 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to four medical calls and one assist.
10/14/23 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one medical call and one lift assist.
10/15/23 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one report of a gas odor leak.
