10/05/23 – 10:22 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at 14th Street and Avenue K.
10/06/23 – 3:04 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 4200 block of Avenue L.
10/06/23 – 7:51 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of Avenue C.
10/06/23 – 9:34 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4500 block of Avenue O.
10/06/23 – 9:44 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1900 block of Avenue E.
10/06/23 – 10:48 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Seth Thomas Wright, 31, no hometown reported, in the 1500 block of Avenue M, on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

10/06/23 – 7:12 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Carrie Mae Smith, 30, no hometown reported, at 33rd Street and Avenue H, on a warrant for failure to appear – driving under suspension and speeding. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/07/23 – 3:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Aneika Shaterrah Forrest, 26, no hometown reported, in the 3200 block of Avenue N, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/07/23 – 4:05 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1400 block of 34th Street.
10/07/23 – 7:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism at 34th Street and Avenue Q.
10/07/23 – 9:08 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a robbery in the 400 block of Avenue H.
10/07/23 – 10:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Michael Christopher Long, 19, no hometown reported, at 22nd and Avenue H, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd.
10/08/23 – 4:56 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Justin Robert Bowden, 42, no hometown reported, at 31st Street and Avenue N, on a charge of driving while barred.
10/08/23 – 11:34 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Dale Lee Heidbreder, Jr., 43, no hometown reported, in the 1500 block of 36th Street, on charges of interference with official acts and disorderly conduct – loud noise. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Keokuk Police Report
09/26/23 – 12:16 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 100 block of South 5th Street southbound. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Zachary Scott Vagenos, 30, of Keokuk, was traveling in the 100 block of South 5th Street in the southbound lanes when the vehicle left its lane of traffic and struck a telephone pole. No injuries were reported. Vagenos was cited for failure to maintain control and the vehicle's owner, John Crutcher, was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to drive. The vehicle was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
10/05/23 – 3:50 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Erin Michelle Ross, 45, of Hamilton, in the 300 block of Main Street, on a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/05/23 – 4:00 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested James Franklin Horton, 48, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of Main Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court and a charge of violation of a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/06/23 – 8:17 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile, no hometown reported, in the 2200 block of Middle Road, on a charge of possession of alcohol under legal age. He was released to a guardian.
10/06/23 – 8:29 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Xavier Addison Hutchcroft, 22, of Keokuk, in the 1700 block of Main Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.
10/06/23 – 9:51 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Timothy Daniel Washburn, 46, of Keokuk, at S. 2nd Street and Johnson Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.
10/06/23 – 11:11 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Luke Jacob Steele, 35, of Keokuk, in the 800 block of S. 7th Street, on a charge of driving under suspension.
10/07/23 – 11:16 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Danny Earl Lamma, Jr., 24, of Keokuk, in the 600 block of N. 10th Street, on charges of domestic assault impede air/blood flow and domestic assault choking/bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/07/23 – 2:21 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Melinda Jo Saunders, 48, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of S. 12th, on charges of violation of a domestic no-contact order and 5th degree criminal mischief. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/07/23 – 8:37 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 16 year-old male juvenile, no hometown reported, in the 1400 block of Main Street, on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released to a parent.
10/08/23 – 2:48 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Brooke Lynn West, 26, of Keokuk, in the 10 block of S. 10th Street, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance – marijuana 1st. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/08/23 – 8:45 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Candice Maree Robinson, 29, of Alexandria, in the 100 block of Hwy. 61 bypass, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/05/23 – 11:30 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Main Street, Keokuk. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Lesley Dawn Peterson, 47, of Keokuk, was attempting to merge into the outside northbound lane onto 300 N. Park Drive when it sideswiped a vehicle driven by Brian Lee Benedict, 50, of Keokuk. No injuries were reported. Peterson was cited for failure to yield upon entering thru highway. Both vehicles suffered minor damage, but were driven from the scene.
10/05/23 – 1:39 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Amber Rae Grooms, 39, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on 2 warrants for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/05/23 – 2:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at Hilton Road and 250th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Drew Edward Garretson, 38, of Burlington, was eluding officers at a high rate of speed when the vehicle struck an embankment while trying to make a right turn onto 250th Avenue from Hilton Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was placed under arrest and the vehicle was towed.
10/05/23 – 8:41 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Gabino Gomez, 28, of Mississippi, in the 300 block of Hwy. 61, Montrose, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/05/23 – 9:37 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 218 S. at 200th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Ryan Jacob Elash, 26, of St. Louis, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 218 S. when a vehicle driven by Richard Earl Pardall, 32, of Donnellson, crossed the southbound lane of Hwy. 218 S., causing Elash's vehicle to strike Pardall's vehicle causing disabling damage to Elash's vehicle. No injuries were reported. Pardall was cited for not yielding while entering the highway. Elash's vehicle was towed from the scene; Pardall's vehicle was driven from the scene.
10/06/23 – 4:58 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Derrick Rodney Lynn Howe, 38, of Warsaw, in the 2300 block of Hwy. 61, Fort Madison, on a charge of eluding – speed 25 over limit. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/06/23 – 1:02 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Quincey Oshay Coleman, 27, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a temporary hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/06/23 – 2:58 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jill Marie Lovell, 34, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/06/23 – 5:26 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dustin James Biddenstadt, 29, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after weekend service.
10/06/23 – 6:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Stephanie Leigh Boyle, 34, of Ottumwa, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/07/23 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
10/08/23 – 12:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Logan Gene Meyers, 25, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on an arrest of affidavit. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/08/23 – 9:50 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Christopher Dean Derr, 36, of Keokuk, in the 2400 block of 340th Street, Keokuk, on a charge of domestic abuse assault – 2nd offense. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
