Fort Madison Police Report
09/05/25 - 7:50 AM - Fort Madison police arrested Michael Jason Westcott, 44, of Fort Madison in the 2200 block of Avenue D on a warrant for theft in the first degree. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
09/05/25 - 11:36 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 1400 block of Avenue F. 
09/05/25 - 3:10 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 2800 block of Avenue M. 
09/06/25 - 11:10 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 900 block of Avenue E. 
09/06/25 - 2:07 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 1400 block of Avenue C. 
09/06/25 - 7:00 PM - Fort Madison police arrested Nicholas Craig Weirather, 34, of Argyle in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue on charges for assault and assault with a bodily injury. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
09/07/25 - 2:56 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of Avenue I. 
09/07/25 - 7:47 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of Avenue L. 
09/08/25 - 8:07 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 800 block of Avenue E.

Keokuk Police Report
08/08/25 - 8:21 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of an accident at Main Street and North 2nd Street and South 2nd Street. Lenny W. Clark, 66, of Carthage was traveling west of the Keokuk-Hamilton Bridge. Rayden Allen Winkler, 18, of Keokuk was facing east in the 200 block of Main Street in the turning lane. Winkler was turning northbound on to North 2nd Street when their light turned green. Clark failed to stop at the red light and struck Winkler's vehicle. The passenger in Winkler's car complained shoulder pain and was examined by EMS. They were not transported to hospital. Both vehicled sustained disabling damage. Clark got charged for failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to provide security against liability. 
09/02/25 - 3:27 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident at North 12th Street and High Street. Haylie Luann Day, 33, of Exline was heading west on High Street and attempted to turn South on North 12th Street from the northern lane of the one way. Joshua Virgil High, 50, of Nauvoo was traveling parallel to Day in the South lane when Day struck High in the back passenger quarter, pushing both cars into the western lane of North 12th Street. Day's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. High's vehicle sustained minor damage. Day was chargewd for improper use of lanes. 
09/05/25 - 10:05 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a gas odor in the 1900 block of Park Lane. 
09/05/25 - 7:57 PM - Keokuk police arrested Thomas Christopher Dodge, 58, of Keokuk in the 300 block of Main Street on charges of possesssion of drug paraphernalia and trespassing. He was held in Lee County Jail.
09/05/25 - 11:09 PM - Keokuk police cited Miles James Burgess, 20, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Hilton Road on a charge of driving under suspension.
09/06/25 - 11:24 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism at Main Street and North Park Drive. 
09/06/25 - 7:25 PM- Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 700 block of North 7th Street. 
09/07/25 - 8:15 AM - Keokuk police arrested Michael Tobias Cagle Junior, 25, of Keokuk in the 1000 block of High Street on a charge of domestic assault causing bodily injury. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
09/07/25 - 9:59 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 300 block of North 13th Street. 
09/07/25 - 10:54 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident at Boulevard Street and Washington Street. A 17 year old juvenile of Keokuk was attempting to pull out of Scooter's Coffee shop heading east on Washington Street but the sight was blocked by a waiting truck in traffic in the south bound lane of Boulevard Road. Summer Lee Ann Miller, 32, of Keokuk was heading north on Boulevard Road from the intersection on Main Street. the juvenile struck Miller's vehicle in the driver door causing disabling damage to both cars. The juvenile was taken to Fort Madison Hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The juvenile was chagred with failure to yield upon entering through highway. 
09/07/25 - 1:35 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a burglary in the 400 block of Concert Street. 
09/07/25 - 6:08 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 300 block of North Park Drive. 
09/07/25 - 7:16 PM - Keokuk police arrested a 16 year old juvenile in the 9th block of Water Street on a charge of disorderly conduct causing fighting and violence. He was released to his parents. 
09/08/25 - 1:58 AM - Keokuk police cited Stephen Tyler Dye, 31, of Keokuk at Belknap Boulevard and Johnson Street on a charge of driving under suspension. 

Lee County Police Report
09/05/25 - 5:55 PM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jordan Jerome Kuhlmeier, 22, of New London in the 700 block of Avenue F in Fort Madison on a warrant for judgment entry and mittimus. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
09/06/25 - 4:14 AM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cameron Joseph Stewart, 22, of Winchester at McDonald’s in Fort Madison on a charge of operating while intoxicated.  He was held in Lee County Jail. 
09/07/25 - 12:20 AM - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Caden Christina Guymon, 18, of Keokuk in the 2100 block of 302nd Avenue in Fort Madison on a charge of public intoxication. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
Those listed above should be and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
