Fort Madison Police Report
05/06/26 - 6:27 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a gas odor in the 4800 block of Avenue O. 
05/06/26 - 11:07 AM - Fort Madison police arrested Josey May Fink, 24, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Avenue F on warrants for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to affix a drug stamp, and a controlled substance violation. She was held in Lee County Jail. 
05/06/26 - 11:10 AM - Fort Madison police arrested Charles Dewayne Henyry, 55, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Avenue I on warrants for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
05/06/26 - 8:11 PM - Fort Madison police arrested Joseph Daniel Cass, of Fort Madison in the 3400 block of Avenue N on a charge of ineligibility to carry a weapon. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
05/06/26 -  12:54 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 1200 block of 35th Street. 
05/06/26 - 1:54 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 2400 block of Henry Ladyn Drive.
05/06/26 -  4:55 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 1500 block of 27th Street. 
05/06/26 - 5:25 PM - 05/06/26 -  12:54 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1600 block of 33rd Street. 
05/06/26 - 6:05 PM - 05/06/26 -  12:54 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 1800 block of Avenue D. 

Keokuk Police Report
05/06/26 - 3:29 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 3600 block of Highway 61 West. 
05/06/26 - 11:07 PM - Keokuk police cited Crystal Anne Laktas, 46, of Keokuk in the 1300 block of Main Street on a charge of driving under suspension. 
05/06/26 - 8:47 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of an accident at Belknap Boulevard and US Highway 218 North. Alex James Best, 18, of Keokuk was failed to stop in an assured clear distance of the vehicle of Braford Irvin Howren, 73, of Keokuk, made impact with the vehicle. Howren's vehicle sustained minor damage and James' vehicle sustained  major damage. 


Lee County Sheriff's Report
05/06/26 - 10:27 p.m. -  Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Edward Jones, 64, of Keokuk, at the S. Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of a pretrial release violation. He was held in Lee County Jail.
