Fort Madison Police Report
09/27/23 – 10:09 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jacqueline Kay Bohnenkamp, 57, of Fort Madison, in the 300 block of Avenue F, on a charge of 2nd offense trespassing. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
09/27/23 – 1:41 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Belinda Lorene McWhortor, 35, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue G, on a warrant for probation violation – forgery. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
09/27/23 – 6:54 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at 180th Street and Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Ariana Itzel Gonzales, 28, of Texas, was slowing to stop at a stop sign at 180th Street and Hwy. 61 when a vehicle driven by Daniel Santibanez, 22, of Texas, rear-ended Gonzales' vehicle. No injuries or citations were reported and both vehicles were undamaged and driven from the scene.
09/27/23 – 11:58 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Hwy. 61 southbound lanes. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Haley Jo Hieatt, 23, of Montrose, was traveling southbound in the 3000 block of Hwy. 61 when it became disabled. No injuries or citations were reported. Hieatt's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.

09/27/23 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to five medical calls.
