06/15/26 - 11:38 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 100 block of Main Street. Hayden A. Svejda, 18, of Hamilton was traveling west on the Keokuk and Hamilton bridge when the front passenger side tire locked up and caused him to veer right, colliding with the concrete barrier on the right side of the bridge, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. Svejda was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability in an accident. 
06/16/26 - 1:59 AM - Keokuk police cited Robert Douglas McNitt, 61, of Keokuk in the 1700 block of Hilton Road on charges of driving under suspension. 
06/16/26 - Keokuk police cited Robby Lee Alberts, 51, of Keokuk in the 1700 block of Hilton Road on charges of driving under suspension and an ATV driving violation. 

Lee County Sheriff's Report
06/16/26 - 12:00 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert James Young, 29, of Fort Madison, at the N. Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of failure to appear. He was held in Lee County  Jail.
06/15/26 - 10:42 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kaitlyn Nicole Mitchell, 30, of Fort Madison, at the N. Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of failure to appear. She was held in Lee County Jail.
