05/02/25 – 8:32 a.m.- Keokuk police cited Desiree Kristina Trent, 32, of Keokuk, in the 1200 block of Johnson Street, on a warrant for failure to appear.

05/05/25 – 4:02 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 16-year-old male on a charge of 4th degree criminal mischief. He was referred to juvenile court.
Lee County Sheriff’s Report
05/04/25 – 8:02 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 300 block of Hwy 27. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Violet Siouxzanne Conway, 19, of Jefferson City, Mo, was traveling in the 300 block of Hwy. 27 when she came upon several slow moving vehicles, one of which changed lanes as she was passing. She stated she had to take evasive maneuvers and ended up in the median. No injuries or citations were reported.
