Fort Madison Police Report
04/23/24 – 11:58 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Ian Ronald Cash, 47, of New Mexico, in the 800 block of 10th Street, on a charge of 5th degree criminal mischief. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/23/24 – 12:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Emily Ann Nickerson, 19, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue E, on a warrant. She was released.
04/23/24 – 12:19 p.m. – Fort Madison police  arrested David James Greenwald, 20, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue E, on a warrant. He was released.
04/23/24 – 3:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1800 block of Pat's Alley.
04/23/24 – 6:04 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of personal injury accident in the 400 block of 16th Street.
04/23/24 – 8:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Avenue J.

Keokuk Police Report
04/23/24 – 6:46 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident at South 7th and Main Streets. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Tim J. Robinson, 50, of Illinois, was traveling northbound on South 7th Street and attempted to turn right onto Main Street, striking a signal pole, knocking it to the ground. Robinson continued to travel eastbound onto Main Street and into Illinois. No injuries or damages to the vehicle were reported. Robinson was cited for failure to have a valid license or permit while operating a motor vehicle and striking fixtures upon the highway.
04/23/24 – 6:46 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident at South 7th and Main Streets.
04/23/24 – 11:49 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 3500 block of Main Street.
04/23/24 – 12:42 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft at South 7th and Ridge Streets.
04/23/24 – 2:00 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile, hometown not reported, in the 2000 block of Orleans Avenue, on a charge of minor use of tobacco/vapor products. His disposition was not reported.
04/23/24 – 2:04 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of Ridge Street.
04/23/24 – 2:31 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Blaine Alan Clancy, 58, of Keokuk, in the 1300 block of Cedar Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/23/24 – 2:59 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 100 block of North 7th Street.
04/23/24 – 5:25 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 3500 block of Main Street.
04/23/24 – 7:20 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Steven Ramone Weems, 34, hometown not reported, in the 1000 block of High Street, on warrants for sexual assault – bodily injury and 1st degree burglary. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/23/24 – 8:59 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Larry Lee Benge, 49, of Keokuk, in the 1200 block of Johnson Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/23/24 – 11:20 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Scott Gene Skeens, 48, of Hamilton, in the 1300 block of Main Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/24/24 – 6:14 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested Jessica Michelle Burlingame, 45, of Keokuk, in the 900 block of Concert Street, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

04/22/24 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to three medical calls, one dog rescue.
04/23/24 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to two medical calls and one two-vehicle accident, and lift assist.
