Fort Madison Police Report
03/27/23 – 1:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jason Theodore Kokjohn, 42, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear - animal at large. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/27/23 – 2:44 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
03/27/23 – 3:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to two reports of larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
03/28/23 – Fort Madison police had no activity to report.
03/29/23 – 12:33 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Cheston Daniel Monroe, 44, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 23rd Street and Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.

Lee County Sheriff Report
03/27/23 – 7:20 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 N. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Ashley Jean McClain, 32, of Fort Madison, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 61 and slowing to make a turn onto 165th Street east when it was sideswiped by a vehicle driven by Dakota Cheyanne Mercer, 29, of Fort Madison. No injuries or citations were reported. McClain's vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene; Mercer's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
03/28/23 – 10:51 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Justin Allen Hahn, 38, no hometown listed, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct - fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/28/23 – 3:03 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Benjamin Isaiah Mitchell, 39, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct - fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
