Fort Madison Police Report
05/23/23 – 11:13 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Randy Allen Davis, 59, of Fort Madison, in the 2700 block of Avenue J, on a charge of city: disorderly conduct.
05/23/23 – 12:12 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1311 block of Avenue G.
05/23/23 – 3:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue E.
05/23/23 – 5:33 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jason Edward Haynes, 46, of Fort Madison, in the 3400 block of Avenue N, on a charge of 1st offense domestic assault - bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/23/23 – 5:52 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4800 block of Avenue O.
05/23/23 – 8:14 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to two reports of larceny/theft, one in the 3200 block of Avenue L and one in the 2700 block of Avenue I.
05/23/23 – 8:44 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Timothy Edward Vincent, 48, of Fort Madison, in the 4800 block of Avenue O, on charges of 5th degree theft less than $300 and public intoxication. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/24/23 – 12:06 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2000 block of Avenue B.

Lee County Sheriff Report
05/23/23 – 3:07 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joshua Tyler Norvell, 36, of Fort Madison, in the 2000 block of Avenue E, Fort Madison, on charges of possession of a controlled substance - 1,2,3rd, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1st offense possession of a controlled substance - marijuana. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/24/23 – 1:15 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 3600 block of Argyle Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by David Daniel Scheeringa, 21, of Indiana, was traveling east on Argyle Road when it swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle in the wrong lane. Scheeringa's vehicle veered off the roadway and traveled east through the ditch, drove down a hill, and came to rest in timber. A passenger was transported by EMS to a hospital for possible injuries. Scheeringa's vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. The accident caused approx. $500 damage to a private fence along the property. Scheeringa was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability.

Those listed above are arrested on suspicion of a charge and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
