Fort Madison Police Report
11/15/22 – 10:27 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 900 block of Avenue G.
11/15/22 – 11:48 a.m.  – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of Avenue D.
11/15/22 – 5:17 p.m. –Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue B.
11/16/22 – 1:47 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Billy Joe Stephenson, 41, of Fort Madison, in the 2200 block of Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.

Lee County Sheriff Report
11/15/22 – 6:06 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 N. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Christine Cook, 43, of Keokuk, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 61 N. when it left  the roadway and spun and hit a tree in the ditch. The driver left the vehicle at the scene. No injuries were reported. Cook was cited for failure to maintain control.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue Report
11/12/22 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to six medical calls.
11/13/22 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to four medical calls.
11/14/22 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to one fire alarm in the 1100 block of 48th Street, a controlled burn check, and five medical calls.
11/15/22 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to two medical calls.

Those listed above are arrested on suspicion of a charge and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
