Fort Madison Police Report
10/28/25 - 3:55 AM - Fort Madison police arrested Janessa N. Taft, 19, of Fort Madison at 15th Street and Avenue H on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held in Lee County Jail. 
10/28/25 - 5:02 PM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 2100 block of Avenue I. 
10/29/25 - 3:23 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny and theft in the 1800 block of Avenue F. 
10/29/25 - 6:01 AM - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary on the 1800 block of Avenue F. 

Keokuk Police Report
10/19/25 - 6:06 PM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 2300 block of Twin Rivers Drive. Adil Mhalli, 39, of Moline wastraveling South on Twin Rivers Drive when a deer entered the road. He Mhalli swerved to avoid hitting the deer and went off road onto the train tracks. Once off the road, Mhalli struck a guardrail on the end of it. The vehicle sustained major damage. Mhalli was cited for failure to maintain control. 
10/28/25 - 9:48 AM - Keokuk police responded ot a report of a burglary in the 500 block of High Street. 
10/28/25 - 11:20 AM - Keokuk police responded to a report of a no injury accident in the 2300 block of Main Street. Rafael Arturo Cabriles Gonzalez, 28, of Keokuk rear ended the vehicle of Anthoneiker David Diaz Mosqueda, 19, of Keokuk when he failed to slow down behind Mosqueda at a stop light. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Gonzalez was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance. 
10/28/25 -  Keokuk police responded ot a report of vandalism in the 1800 block of Johnson Street. 
10/29/25 - 1:02 AM - Keokuk police arrested Cole Michael Tripp, 27, of Keokuk in the 2600 block of Main Street on a wararnt for failure to appear and contempt of court. He was held in Lee County Jail. 
10/29/25 - 7:04 AM - Keokuk police arrested Matthew Dalton Fowler, 48, of Keokuk in the 1400 block of Hilton Road on charges of eluding, attempted burglary, criminal mischief in the third degree, going armed with intent, possession of a controlled substance, and interference with an official act. He was held in Lee County Jail. 

Lee County Sheriff's  Report
10/30/25 - 12:55 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Dustin Chauncey Brecount, 44, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office on  charges of failure to appear/contempt of court
Those listed above should be and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
