09/26/23 – 9:23 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Leanna Hope Simpson, 30, of Fort Madison in the 3900 block of Bluff Road on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
09/26/23 – 11:43 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue G.
09/26/23 – 6:26 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 4600 block of Avenue J.
09/26/23 – 7:43 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
09/27/23 – 2:43 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2700 block of Avenue L.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
09/26/23 – 6:11 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark Alan Wear, 51, of Luray, Mo., in Poweshiek County, on an active warrant. He was released on bond.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue Report
09/26/23 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to four medical calls and one alarm.
