WEST BURLINGTON - Great River Health is proud to be among the first medical centers in Iowa to receive the Home-Base Iowa Employer designation.
This award is presented to employers that have shown a commitment to supporting the veteran community in Iowa through programs, incentives, and veteran-specific recruitment and retention efforts.
“This honor is significant to us, not only as an acknowledgment of our efforts but as a reminder of the values we hold dear: service, integrity, and community. By employing veterans, we gain more than skilled team members; we gain individuals whose character and experiences enrich our company culture and strengthen our collective mission,” explained Michael Yost, Chief Human Resources Officer for Great River Health. “To all veterans, thank you for your service. It is a privilege to work alongside you and to support you in the next chapter of your journey.”
Home Base Iowa works with veterans and their families across the state of Iowa in their transition to civilian life. They provide connections to employers, resources, and community incentives.
Great River Health employs over 2,700 employees throughout the region. A variety of positions are available at Great River Health. To view the full list of open positions, go to greatriverhealth.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/External
