WEST BURLINGTON - Central Lee Middle School students made a remarkable impression at the conference science fair held at Southeastern Community College (SCC) in Burlington on Thursday. Competing against students from across the area, these young scientists showcased their hard work, creativity, and deep understanding of scientific concepts.
Judges praised the Central Lee students for their enthusiasm and knowledge, noting how well they explained their projects and the passion they displayed for their research. “It’s clear that these students put in a lot of effort and truly understand the science behind their work,” one judge commented. “Their excitement was contagious.”
The event featured a variety of projects, ranging from engineering solutions to environmental studies, studies of animals and chemistry experiments. Many students from Central Lee received recognition for their outstanding work, proving that curiosity and dedication to learning are alive and well at the school.
With such a strong showing at this year’s fair, Central Lee Middle School students have set the bar high for future competitions, leaving no doubt that they are a force to be reckoned with in the world of science.
