Hawks get to .500 with win over WACO

Crank, Lowenberg and Krehbiel score for Central Lee

WAYLAND – The Central Lee Hawks shut out WACO Monday night to move to .500 in the SEI Superconference and on the season.
The Hawks got goals from Ayden Krehbiel at the 23:37 mark of the second half off an assist from Zach Estrada and then scored again less than a minute later when Landon Crank scored a ball from Ayden Kent.
WACO would get on the board with 11:25 left in the first half but Central Lee would get the final score on an unassisted ball from Landan Lowenberg to set the 3-1 score.
Hunter Gregory had five saves in the net for the Hawks.
Central Lee takes on Burlington Notre Dame Tuesday night beginning at 7 p.m.
