WEST POINT - Holy Trinity Catholic (HTC) Schools is pleased to announce substantial progress in the capital campaign for its new elementary building. Thanks to the sustained generosity of the local community and a dedicated network of alumni throughout the country, the school has now secured 64% of its total fundraising goal.
The campaign’s success to date reflects a shared commitment to the future of Catholic education in the region. Contributions have come from a wide range of supporters, with gifts of all sizes from modest individual donations to significant leadership pledges playing a vital role in reaching this milestone.
While the progress is a cause for celebration, HTC leadership emphasizes that the campaign remains active. Fundraising efforts will continue until the full project goal is reached, ensuring the new facility is fully realized for the benefit of current and future students. The school remains profoundly grateful for the broad spectrum of generosity shown thus far and invites those who have not yet had the chance to please prayerfully consider how they might support this project as it moves forward.
Holy Trinity Catholic Schools remains focused on the completion of this project and continues to welcome participation from all who wish to invest in the school's mission. No contribution is too small, as every gift helps build the foundation for our students' future.
The new $6.3 million addition will be on the east side of 4th Street from the sidewalk back to the current elementary gymnasium and will include 11 new classrooms, a multipurpose room, a music room, storage, restrooms, office spaces, a conference, and a staff common area.
To make contributing as easy as possible, supporters can visit the campaign website to access digital pledge cards or use the "Donate" button for immediate contributions. In addition to traditional cash donations, pledges for a period of up to five years are welcome.
The campaign is also equipped to accept various tax-efficient forms of support, including:
• Gifts of Grain: A tax-efficient way for local producers to contribute.
• Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD): For supporters aged 70½ or older, gifts can be made directly from an IRA.
