ISP warden shares support for Weber for Sheriff

With the election quickly approaching, I wanted to take a moment to formally express my gratitude, appreciation, and support of Sheriff Stacy Weber.
The Iowa State Penitentiary has always been able to depend on the support of Sheriff Weber and his department. This unwavering support and willingness to assist on a moment’s notice has had a positive impact on this institution and its mission of creating opportunities for a safer community.
As the Warden of the Iowa State Penitentiary, it has been my experience that Sheriff Weber says what he means and means what he says. His honest and professional approach, and simply doing the right thing is impressive. It isn’t always easy to do what’s right and he shows confidence in doing just that. His high moral character and sense of ethics is beyond reproach. Stacy treats people with civility and is polite professional and courteous in his interactions. I have always been impressed with Sheriff Weber and his respect for others and the ease with which he treats others with integrity.
Sheriff Weber’s sense of service to this community is a train I find extremely admirable. He shows sound judgment and expresses gratitude to those around him.

I appreciate Stacy’s authenticity. His clear, concise and confident communication style is impressive. Sheriff Weber is transparent in our conversations, and I appreciate his honest approach, sense of ethics, and high moral standards. These are rare traits these days.
Sheriff Wever continually demonstrates the ability to adapt to a vast number of situations in a professional and competent manner. The Iowa State Penitentiary and our ISP K9 Department has trained in conjunction with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department on numerous occasions and have developed a strong professional relationship and a high level of mutual respect between the two agencies. This relationship is extremely important to this office and all of ISP.
In closing, I would like to applaud Sheriff Weber on running his campaign in a positive and professional manner, and wish him the best of luck.
