David L. Bradley, 87, of Donnellson, IA, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 4:08 PM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
He was born on February 12, 1939 in Argyle, IA to Duane and Letha Berstler Bradley. On November 29, 1967 he married Mary Kemper and she passed away on May 22, 2023. David was a heavy equipment mechanic for Chevron. After Chevron closed, he then was a trucker driver for Walmart and retired after seventeen years of service. David enjoyed woodworking, fishing, mushrooming and was an avid euchre player. He loved the Iowa Hawkeyes and especially enjoyed watching Caitlin Clark play.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise (Greg) Ransom and Debbie (Dale) Augustine of Wever; one son, Orkie (Darla) Bradley of Belton, MO; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son Perry Bradley; two grandsons, David Bradley and Matthew Cramer; a daughter and grandson both at birth; and three brothers, Dean, Darrell and Don.
The family will meet with friends on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 1:30-2:30 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A private family burial will take place in Charleston Cemetery.
