Matthew Paul Orr, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at his home.
He was born on December 19, 1961 in Ft. Madison to Howard and Shirley Smith Orr, Jr. On August 26, 1983 he married Donna Anderson in Ft. Madison. Matt was an engineer for BNSF. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking and fixing or building just about anything. Most of all he loved camping and boating with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Orr; ; one son, Uriah Orr; two daughters, Staci (Shawn) Smith, Alicia Miller; five grandchildren, Zoey, Aiden, Kaylee, Quinnen, and Geovonni; three brothers, Steven (Kelly) Orr, Michael (Kelly) Orr and David (Becky) Orr; three sisters, Betsy LaValle, Melissa Orr and Kelly Peck; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will meet with friends from 1-3 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A private family burial will be held. A memorial has been established in his memory and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
