Michael E. Spiker, 77, of Fort Madison, IA, formerly of Montrose, IA, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 4:02 PM at Birkwood Village in Ft. Madison.
He was born on October 29, 1948 in Keokuk to Roswell Elmer Pearl and Dorothy Johnson Spiker, Sr.  In his early years, Mike worked at Faeth Apple Orchard.  He then worked for Alexander Lumber Company as a delivery driver, retiring after many years of service. Mike also enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.
Survivors include one sister, Georgia Ann (Ken) Varner of Camanche, IA  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Spiker Sr and Dorothy Groves; two brothers, Roswell Elmer Pearl (Frieda Pilcher) Spiker Jr and David Earl (Pamela Swope) Spiker and three sisters, Marie Jeanette (Joseph) Spiker Groves, Mary Ellen Spiker Cook Dawson and Donna Kay Spiker (Bill) Luginbuhl .
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Scandinavian Cemetery, rural Keokuk with his nephew Pastor Andrew Varner officiating.
