Patricia A. Harrison, 77, of Humble, TX and formerly of Ft. Madison passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston, TX.
She was born on October 4, 1947 in Ft. Madison to Jack and Mary Kessler McMurry. On April 14, 1966 she married Larry A. Harrison and he passed away on January 20, 2024. Patricia was a homemaker and also a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved watching the birds outside of her window and spending time with her dog Fritz. Besides being a loving wife and mother, she had a passion for home decorating and was known for her sewing skills. She and Larry did not find a piece of furniture they could not make their own by reupholstering the piece themselves. Her creativity and attention to detail brought beauty and comfort to many. Pat will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle nature, and the way she always put her family first.
Survivors include two sons, David (Cyndy) Harrison of Beaverton, OR and Steven (Alison) Harrison of Bend, OR; one daughter, Michelle (Tracy Overbay) Huff of Humble, TX; five grandchildren; one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, James McMurry.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family is having a private visitation at Patricia's home in Humble, TX but a visitation will also be held at King-Lynk Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18 from 1-3 PM. A private burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ft. Madison.
