Stephen J. McLeod, 68, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his home. He was born on July 12, 1957 in Montreal, Canada. He married Julia Ann Stephenson on February 19, 1999 in Keokuk, IA. He worked in the warehouse at the Scotts Company in Fort Madison for 25 years and enjoyed golf and being a smartass. He loved hockey, especially the Boston Bruins.
Steve is survived by: his wife: Julia McLeod of Fort Madison, IA; 4-sons: William Rankin, Jack, Alain & Philip McLeod; 5-grandchildren; 1-brother: John (Sigi) McLeod of British Columbia, Canada and his hockey buddy: Mark Schuller of Hamilton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
