Travis J. Lozano, 54, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at his home.
He was born on September 15, 1971 in Ft. Madison to Rito and Paula Perrez Lozano. Travis began his career as a correctional officer at ISP on November 1, 1993 and was set to retire in September. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. Travis enjoyed bowling, playing cards and barbequing with his friends, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include one brother, Sam (Laura) Lozano of Ft. Madison; six sisters, Rita (Joe) Cangas of Des Moines, Eulalia “Lali” (Rick) Leach of Oklahoma, Sherri Dobbs of Galesburg, Pam Lozano of Ft. Madison, Renay (Memo) Dominguez of Guerro Chihuahua, Mexico and Betsi Lozano of Ft. Madison; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Max and many special friends whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers G.J. and his twin brother, Tyrone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 2-5 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
