Gary Manning, 59, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 12:50 AM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Ft. Madison.
He was born on April 11, 1966 in Ft. Madison to Frank Muenzenmaier and Jereldene Neff. On April 11, 1997 he married Teresa Imthurn in Carthage. Gary was a laborer. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. Gary was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Manning of Ft. Madison; his children, Samantha (Laurence) Morris of Franklin, James (Kristen) Imthurn , Garrett (Ann) Grelk, Lauren (Dustin) Aycock, Brandon (Kaliegh) Manning all of Ft. Madison, Tyler Martin of Spokane, WA and Joseph (JoAnne) Manning of Ft. Madison; fourteen grandchildren; a brother, Jeff (Cindy) Manning of West Point and a sister, Becky Scott of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Morgan and a grandchild.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM at the big shelter house at Wilson Lake on Friday, May 2, 2025. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
