LeAnn M. Murphy, 45, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away unexpectedly at 12:20 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
She was born in Ft. Madison to Michael and Deborah Britton Murphy.  LeAnn was a graduate of Ft. Madison High School and was a pharmacy technician at Bartletts, Rashids and Hy-Vee.  She enjoyed shopping and sitting around bonfires. LeAnn was a spontaneous, fly by the seat of her pants type of girl.  She was down to do anything whether it was attending a music event, going out to eat or just googling something to do and would hit the road and make the most out of it.  Although she was never really bored, she was fondly known for falling asleep during random times.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include two daughters, Bailey (Kaleb) Stuekerjuergen of Clarksville, TN and Aubrey (Isiah) Corson of Ft. Madison; two grandchildren,  Henry and Millie; her mom, Deb Murphy of Ft. Madison; her brother, Jason (Joseph Jones) Murphy of Kahoka, MO; her paternal grandma, Jane Fisher of Wapello; Aunts, Uncles and cousins including Heidi Marshall of Ft. Madison, special friend “granny sweetums” Karyn Houser and her beloved fur baby, Tucker.  She was preceded in death by her dad, Mike Murphy and her grandparents, Dick and Eva Britton and Clifford Murphy.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  The family will meet with friends from 9:30-11 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A celebration of life will follow at the Moose Lodge.  A memorial has been established in her memory and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
