Linda Lou Schrader, 76, of Montrose, IA, passed away at 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. She was born on October 27, 1948 in Keokuk, IA to Albert & Eva Taylor Fox. She married Donald L. Schrader on February 27, 1970 in Carthage, IL. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2020. She worked at the Sheaffer Pen Company in production for many years and was a member of the Keokuk Nazarene Church. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Linda is survived by: 1-daughter: Tonia (Richard) Hagmeier of Montrose, IA; 1-son in law: Mike Hagmeier of Montrose, IA; 3-grandchildren: Deonna (Shaun) Sheets of Montrose, IA, Bubba (Lita) Hagmeier of Fort Madison, IA & Deon (Halie) Schrader-Hagmeier of Montrose, IA; 7-great grandchildren: Aubree, Aria, Benjamin, Ariel, Jackson, Jameson & Anastasia; 3-sisters: Nellie Hellemeyer of Dallas City, IL, Joyce (Mike) Johnson of Montrose, IA & Gloria (Bob) Dunn of Fort Madison, IA and a special niece: Rhonda (Ben) Wharton of Keokuk, IA. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-daughter: Samantha, 3-brothers: Smokey, Marty & Ronnie, 4-sisters: Orpha, Norma, Dorothy & Sharon.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, IL. A memorial has been established for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
