Misty M. Murphy, 56, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 1:23 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. She was born on February 27, 1969 in Fort Madison, IA to Duane Hall & Jewel Elyse Jones Scott. She worked in the service industry for many years and enjoyed watching wrestling with her son, Josh. She loved music, especially the blues.
Misty is survived by: 2-sons: Noah Nathaniel Scott of Belleville, IL & Joshua Michael Huckstep of Lincoln, NE; 3-grandchildren; her father: Duane Scott of Fort Madison, IA and 2-brothers: Michael Scott of Montrose, IA & Marvin Scott of Milan, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother.
