Ronnie George Penrod, 83, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 7:33 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 9, 1940 in Fort Madison, IA to Lorren & Luella Wilson Penrod. He married Donna J. “D.J.” Gregory on June 16, 1988 in Kahoka, MO. He worked in the paper industry his whole life, working at Consolidated Packaging and later moving to Indiana to work for another paper mill. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and loved spending time with his dogs and training them. He also raised horses when he was younger.
Ronnie is survived by his wife: Donna “D.J.” Gregory Penrod of Fort Madison, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dawn Penrod.
