Rose Ann “Rosie” Howard, age 69, of Ft. Madison, IA,  passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:12 PM at her home.
She was born on July 12, 1954 in Ft. Madison to Lester and Mary Boyles Berry.  On November 20, 1971 she married Daniel Howard in Ft. Madison.  Rosie worked at Sheaffer Pen, Under the Sun and Spring Lake Golf Course.  She enjoyed golfing, bingo, gardening, cooking and baking. Rosie also enjoyed gaming and going to the casino.  She most enjoyed being a “pro shopper”. 
Survivors include her husband, Dan Howard of Ft. Madison; one daughter, Lindy (Brian) Boeding of Milwaukee, WI; four sons, Bill (Stephanie) Howard of Glendale, AZ, Ryan (April) Howard of Palm Bay, FL, Johnnie (DeeAnn) Howard of Lowell and Daniel (Liz) Howard Jr. of Galesburg; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, James “Pat” (Kathy) Berry of Ft. Madison; three sisters, Bonnie (Mike) Howard of Ft. Madison, Virginia “Ginni” (Dave) Warner of Ft. Madison and Cecilia Hitch Smith of Montrose; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Mollie.  She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, William Hitch and brother-in-law, Craig Smith.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 2-6 PM at the Eagles Club in Ft. Madison.
