 William A. Scott, 74, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2026 at 2:31 PM at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He was born on September 30, 1951 in Ft. Madison to Allen and Virginia Harrison Scott. Bill served in the US Army during Vietnam from 1971-1973.  He worked at Fruehauf, Santa Fe Railroad, the casino and was a barber. Bill loved riding his Harley and being outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing and going on boat rides.  Bill was also involved in Native American Culture.
Survivors include one sister, Beth (Gary) Todd of Ft. Madison; two brothers, Jerry Scott of Burlington and Chester (Karen) Scott of Ft. Madison; nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother; one niece and one nephew.
King-Lynk Funeral Home is assisting the Scott family.  A family graveside service will be held in Revere Cemetery, Revere, MO.  A memorial has been established for Revere Cemetery and may be sent to Beth Todd at 508 17th Street, Ft.
