FORT MADISON – Central Lee’s Caleb Larson won Friday’s Lee County high school golf tournament at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison.
Larson’s 75 was good enough for medalist honors and led the Hawks to a 323 win over Fort Madison (346), Keokuk (352) and Holy Trinity Catholic (377).
Fort Madison’s Cole Quittem was runner-up medalist with a 78.
Central Lee had the next two best scores with Carter Jones carding an 81 and Kaden Swan tying Keokuk’s Carter Land with 83s. Fort Madison’s Colton Boyer was next in with an 84, which tied the Hawks' Mylan Lowenberg. Carson Morrison from Central Lee and Rowan Benda from Fort Madison each fired 86. Keokuk’s Luke Ames rounded out the top 10 with an 88.
Holy Trinity’s Brock Scheetz lead the way for the Crusaders with a 90.
