One of Lee County’s most anticipated summer events returns this weekend as the Love Lee County Tour invites residents and visitors alike to explore the hidden treasures, unique businesses, scenic countryside, and welcoming communities that make our corner of Southeast Iowa special. This self-guided tour encourages you to hit our backroads and discover everything from local artisans and specialty shops to historic sites, farms, greenhouses, antiques, and other one-of-a-kind destinations throughout the county.
The Love Lee County Tour is more than just a road trip, it’s an opportunity to experience the people, places, and stories that give Lee County its character. Along the route, visitors can meet local business owners, explore beautiful rural landscapes, uncover unexpected treasures, and support small businesses that help keep our communities thriving. Stops include Fort Madison, Donnellson, West Point, Wever, Montrose and Keokuk. It all happens June 12 & 13 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Whether you’ve attended this tour in the past or this will be your first time, the Love Lee County Tour is a reminder that some of the best experiences are found just down the road. Stop by the tourism office, grab a map and get ready for a weekend of exploring Lee County!
