FORT MADISON - Fort Madison junior Kylie Lumino shot a personal best 81 at Stone Creek Golf Club in Williamsburg at the 3A regional last week to qualify for the IGHSAU state meet Thursday and Friday in Cedar Falls. The Lady Hounds shot a 412 for a tie for 5th at the regional with the top two teams and top six individuals advancing.
Lumino wasn't mentioned in the sports briefs earlier this week or in Sunday's Beside the Point. Those articles have since been corrected on our sites and we deeply regret the unintended ommission of Kylie from those postings and wish her, and all our area athletes with competitions this week, the very best.
