McGraw stepping down as Central Lee AD

DONNELLSON, IOWA — Central Lee Community School District Athletic Director Wes McGraw will transition back into the classroom as a middle school physical education teacher for the 2025-26 school year.
McGraw, who expressed a desire to return to teaching, has made the decision to step down from his role as athletic director for the upcoming school year. This move will allow him to focus more on his family and teaching responsibilities.
“We are grateful for Wes’s dedication to the district and his contributions as athletic director,” said Dr. Andy Crozier, Central Lee Superintendent. “While we will miss his leadership in athletics, we support his decision and look forward to selecting a new AD who will continue to build on our athletic programs and provide strong leadership in the role.”
The district will begin its search for a new activities director in the coming weeks.
