FORT MADISON - Nominations are being accepted until Feb. 2, for the annual Fort Madison Partners awards ceremony and dinner.
The Daily Democrat sponsors an award for the Citizen of the Year. This award goes to an individual who has worked towards improving the quality of life in the Fort Madison area. The Fort Madison Economic Development Corporation sponsors an award for the Community Developer of the Year. This annual award goes to a community member who has enhanced the economic vitality of Fort Madison and is voted on by the Fort Madison Economic Development Board of Directors. Nominations will be accepted until February 2nd, 2024. The nominees will be recognized and the winners will be announced at the Fort Madison Partners Annual Dinner on February 23rd at McAleer Hall.
