LEE COUNTY - Lee County Conservation is excited to welcome families back to Pollmiller Park (2448 County Rd 103, West Point, IA 52656) for the annual Halloween HOOT on Saturday, October 4th from 4-6 PM.
This free, family-friendly celebration is open to all ages and promises festive games, crafts, activities, and, of course, plenty of Halloween treats. Costumes are encouraged - just be sure to dress for the weather!
Campground Trick-or-Treating Pollmiller Park’s campground will once again transform into a Halloween wonderland, with campers decorating their sites and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. All reservable campsites are already spoken for, but a limited number of walk-up campsites will be available the week of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground is expected to fill up quickly. For safety, the campground will be closed to vehicle traffic during trick-or-treating hours.
Activities & Food In addition to campground trick-or-treating, families can enjoy games, crafts, and other fall-themed activities. Gingerbilly’s Food Truck from Keokuk will serve tasty options for kids and adults, while Sippin’ Sisters of West Point will offer refreshing drinks like dirty sodas, lemonade, iced coffee, and more.
Join the Fun! Mark your calendars and gather your family for an evening of outdoor Halloween fun at Pollmiller Park’s Halloween HOOT. Celebrate the season, connect with nature, and enjoy one of Lee County’s most beloved fall traditions!
