Alfonso Canet, 61, of Keokuk, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at his home in Keokuk.
Alfonso was born on April 6, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Alfonso Canet, Sr., and Theresa Canet Rocha. He was a talented contractor and designer, and was skilled in interior design and tilework. He enjoyed spending his free time working on cars, traveling in his RV, and costume design.
Alfonso is survived by two siblings: Debra (John) Heath of Keokuk and Rocko Roman of Chicago; six nieces and nephews: Christina (Brian) Boltz of Keokuk, Johnathon (Ashley) Heath of Kentucky, Tiffany Heath of Idaho, and Ashley, Max and Rocko Roman, all of Chicago; and six great-nieces and nephews: Eli, Bella, Lily, and Milo Boltz, and J.D. and Samuel Heath.
Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home, 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa, with burial to follow at Quincy Memorial Park in Quincy, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. directly before the service.
