William “Casey” F. Jones, 95, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Silver Maple Care Center in Carthage.
Casey was born on July 11, 1929, in rural Warsaw, the son of Archie and Frances (Morris) Rowe. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and reserves from 1950-1952, receiving his honorable discharge at the rank of Corporal. On January 21, 1954, he was united in marriage to Donna Ruth Long in Nashville, Tennessee. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2022.
Casey was employed at UTA (Henneges) for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his free time watching TV, woodworking, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He could often be found collecting Native American artifacts and or attending auctions and garage sales.
Casey is survived by two sons: Greg Jones of Keokuk and Gary (Tammy) Jones of Warsaw; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Casey is preceded in death by his parents, his son Geoff Jones, and three sisters: Ginger Loring, JoAnn Daggs and Donna Lee Hudson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial with military honors will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11 am on Thursday at the funeral home directly before services.
Memorials may be directed to Lee County Hospice.
