LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Reader contends forum incident is a lie

Posted
Dear Editor:

I attended the debate last Tuesday at the high school. I was waiting to speak to Mr. Vandenberg after his conversation with the jail employee in question. I was approximately 10 feet from them. What she alleges happened is a lie. I spoke to Mr. Vandenberg directly after she walked away, he was in no way "disturbed or agitated".
Apparently, Mr. Schulz has spent too much time in the basement around the cat box.
Mr. Schulz failed to mention that the jail employee in question happens to be the daughter of "RiNo" supervisor Gery Seyb. He also failed to mention why the employee didn't immediately
contact the Chief of the Ft. Madison police department who was approximately 20 feet behind me or the current Chief who was approximately 10 feet to his left. Sherrif Webber was over by the bleachers. Why wasn't he contacted? I'll tell you why, It's a LIE.

Supervisor Schulz should be ashamed of the political B.S. he has tried to perpetuate. Unfortunately, I'm sure he isn't. What he has proven himself to be is a politician (liar).
