Reader says conscience should guide your vote

Dear Editor:

A final appeal to Lee County voters from the Lee County Democratic Party. 

After many weeks of campaigning door to door, placing yard-signs and making a case for our candidates, it all comes down to the first Tuesday in November.

We are genuinely encouraged and proud of our candidates. They have conducted their campaigns in a respectful and professional manner. They certainly have earned your consideration and hopefully your vote.

From the top of the ticket to the local county candidates, we believe (with good reason) that we have a slate deserving of your vote. Regardless of your political registration or if you are an independent voter, vote your conscience and if you do, we believe you will vote for the candidates who will have your interests and livelihood at heart. Thank you from all the Democratic candidates and the Executive Board and members of the Lee County Democratic Party.
